#3 Instyle’s Natalie Hartley wears…

We’ve invited Instyle’s Fashion Editor Natalie Hartley to choose her favourite pieces, and to show us how she’ll be styling them. We’ll be bringing you a series of Natalie’s most on-trend looks and her top tips for style success.

This week… Natalie breaks up our NW3 Wells short suit to create two must-have looks. The featured pieces are the NW3 Wells drape jacket £69, and the NW3 Wells full shorts £69.

Natalie on how to wear the Wells jacket

Navy is my new black but I love mixing up black and blue together. I have styled the jacket with these velvet pyjama style trousers as they update a simple blazer. I’ve chosen to wear flats to complement the trousers shape, and a loose t-shirt keeps this outfit feeling less literal. This is a great look for work; comfortable yet stylish!

Natalie on how to wear the Wells shorts

I love these shorts and I think that the longer length is very flattering – great for showing enough leg but still appearing sophisticated.  I love to wear navy and it’s a chic look instead of wearing black all the time. I like to play with texture and layers and an undone blouse with a t-shirt underneath gives a beaded jacket a modern makeover.

Tip…try shorts for work its a great alternative to a skirt suit

  2. Great to see the blog and top marks for showcasing clothes on ladies other than models. Not that I have anything against models, but why, oh why, does Hobbs use such thin models to model their clothes on their website? Let’s see a wider range of body types please for your pictures – I’d like to see these clothes being advertised by women who look more like me and less like teenagers with lots of makeup on.

    • Hi Fern,

Thanks so much for your feedback, we are looking into this and we do change our models every season. But we must add, that we have a strict policy of only using healthy models from reputable agencies. We really appreciate your feedback and thoughts, and will take these on board at our next casting,

      Best wishes
